Cat Kartal

Cat Kartel is one of the most well known of the contemporary artists who live and work in Chamonix. She draws her inspiration from the timeless peaks that surround the town, which she represents in her own inimitable and unique style. Her work is exposed in a number of places around the resort, including the Galerie Pauline Galand on the Rue Pacced, as well as in the National restaurant and the Hotel du Bois in Les Houches. Throughout the year Cat also runs painting and drawing courses for children and adults in her workshop. For more information, visit her web site.

Open 7 days a week from 10am - 1pm then 2pm -7.30pm at 81, rue Whymper. If it’s a powder day you might want to ring first! Bungalow Graphics

The Bungalow is still wide open to welcome you and ravish your eyes with a world of wonders made in Hot Savoy! After the opening of their shop in La Clusaz last winter - since summer 2010 they also have the pleasure to welcome you in the Alp Chic boutique in the center of Annecy (see the web site for details). Ski art, Surf art, Tiki art, Funky art are still the big thing (yep, it takes keywords to survive in the internet jungle ! ) They put it on mouse pads, bags, boxes, wood based trays, fridge magnets, badges, posters and cards for every occasion... So if you dig vintage design, B movies, and moustaches, you will probably find some ideas for your letter to Santa! Don’t forget, winter will be cold, no walls must go naked!! Charlie and Andrea ADAM
